On November 14, people everywhere are invited to get together locally for a Melanin Meetup.
It could be a group of friends meeting at a restaurant, people gathering at a coffee shop, a community event, a business hosting its customers, or strangers meeting for the first time.
There is no single way to celebrate.
Different backgrounds. Different cultures. Different shades. One world.
A MONTH-LONG CELEBRATION
Melanin Month is about connection.
It's about recognizing that people with different histories, cultures, languages and traditions can still come together to celebrate, learn from one another and enjoy the things that make our communities unique.
Throughout November, communities, businesses, creators and individuals participate with their own engagement and impact from meetups, to dining, scavenger hunts, art and beyond.
